It’s Been a Long, Strange Trip Discovery Hunt

We’re celebrating our anniversary with a scavenger hunt: 40 clues for 40 years! Discover histories, mysteries and McMenamins lore by joining the It’s Been a Long Strange Trip discovery hunt. 

How it works:
  • Pick up a booklet at the Barley Mill Pub to get started.
  • The hunts can be done June 17-September 30, 2023. 
  • Each hunt below is attached to a roman numeral. 
  • Each spot in the booklet has a Roman numeral in it. 
  • Solve the hunts, get stamps, get prizes along the way!
  • Each person who finishes all 40 hunts will be entered into a drawing for even more prizes!
  • Starting September 1, 2023 you can collect the prize for finishing all 40 hunts at one of the following hotels: Anderson School, Edgefield, Grand Lodge or Kennedy School. 
  • You can also collect the final prize at Greenway Pub's birthday on 9/30/2023.
