IVAN was formed in the summer of 2024 when working musicians and friend Chase and Woody had the option to play some shows and decided they should just form a band and do it themselves. They had always spent long nights drinking rum, playing pool, and talking about music and the type of music they loved making. 

After playing around with it for a bit, they found the sounds they loved and have been working ever since to develop it further. They brought in some friends, like Nick Ferraro and Matt Florio, as well as Danny Long, and together, they made IVAN, like all babies are made, from love. Their sound is inspired by the things that they love, mostly, Cosmic Music, and drinking rum as much as possible on the beach. 

Now, they spend their time working on writing and recording music, playing shows as often as possible, and drinking bottles and bottles of rum.
