The Portland Klezmer All Stars are veterans of Portland's klezmer explosion, creating thrilling, joy-forward music with a broad reach that embraces jazz, afro-hebrew and beyond. These longtime collaborators have shaped the region's sound for over three decades, drawing from a rich lineage of bands (Klezmocracy, Blue Cranes, Doina Groove, Michelle Alany and the Mystics, and the Carpathian Pacific Express), and keeping the music alive, dancing, and fiercely present.

Featuring master pianist Ralph Huntley, powerhouse drummer Ji Tanzer, spellbinding clarinetist Andrew Alikhanov, and captivating accordionist/saxophonist Courtney Von Drehle, the All Stars bring virtuosity, groove, and shared history to all it does - music that honors tradition while bursting with personality.
