This classic German Kölsch was brought to you by collaboration. Nine different McMenamins Brewers worked as a team to develop this recipe. All German malts, German-style hops and a German Kölsch yeast provide an idea of what a traditional Kölsch might of tasted like in Germany in the early 20th century. Light in alcohol and light in color, this beer doesn't lack in flavor.
This decadent Stout is brewed with locally roasted cold-brewed coffee and spent cocoa nibs from the Stillwagon Distillery. It’s rich and decadent: perfect for a late night beer by the fire.
This award winning Porter hints at aromas and flavors of chocolate and mocha. This beer is brewed to style and silky smooth. The bitterness is low to medium and balances nicely with the malt character to make this 6% Porter very drinkable and easily enjoyed year round.
A confluence of European-stylings and the Northwest’s penchant for hops. This India Pale Lager’s time-honored process of lagering allows both traditional German malts and innovative Northwest Citra, El Dorado & Idaho 7 hops to shine through, pleasing lager fans and IPA fans alike.
Congratulations on scoring a pint of the very first Vacation Ale ever brewed! There are two requirements for Vacation Ale designation: First, aroma additions only. All hops must be added at the end of boil or in the dry-hopping phase. Second, cannabis terpenes must be added. Our premier batch features Amarillo, Citra and Ekuanot Hops with Purple Hindu Kush terpenes from Chalice Farms.
Tropic Heat is a kettle soured ale brewed with pink guava puree, coconut and habanero peppers. The heat contribution from the peppers is very minimal and creates a pleasant background quality that lingers. This slight spiciness accentuates the fruity, full guava taste that is this beer's foundation. Coconut was also added to pleasantly blend all of the fine flavors together.
Among the swelling base and heavily hopped riffs, a uniting dissonance appears. Wheat and Oats load in sustained distortion and vast amounts of feedback. From the Juice yeast emerges an ethereal realm with suspended ambient fruit and lupulin resonance. Aromatic and resinous, the primal essence of Modern Times, Holy Mountain, and Fort George rises like a Monolith….no, make that a Triolith, of IPA reverence. 3-Way IPA, reverbating across the Pacific Northwest starting June 2018.
A tropical twist on a Highland classic! The Nutty Scot is a Scottish Ale dosed with a healthy touch of coconut. Oats give this beer body and a silky mouthfeel. The nutty caramel flavors of this malt-forward beer blend well with the coconut. Perfect for those tropical Scottish beaches...or the Pacific Northwest!
We took our Peachy Keen Wheat and really turned it up a notch! With the hot weather we've been having, why not have a beer that reflects that with a habanero pepper?! If you like a little heat in your drink, give this Wheat a try!
Everyone’s got a favorite year. Maybe it’s the year you fell in love, or you finally beat your dad at croquet (that cheater). Maybe you mastered the didgeridoo or conquered your aversion to shell peas. For us, it’s 1967, the year that Oregon boldly decided our beaches must belong to everyone. We know - literally awesome. We just had to toast that populist spirit, so we created this delicious, freewheeling namesake. It’s an easy drinker, clean, crisp, and enjoyed by pretty much everyone. Just like our beaches.

With summer just arriving, what better way to enjoy it than drinking a Hefeweizen!? This beer is light with a grain base of Wheat and Pilsen, and a touch of Flaked Barley. Tettnanger Hops are added to the boil to provide a little spice to the beer. We used Weihenstephan yeast, which provides flavors of banana and clove.
Our entry this year for the Cheers to Belgian Beers Festival, the Full Tuck is a sneaky wild one that's full of funk. Bright and dry, this one won't be putting the lotion on the skin...
