A succession of brewers with big, strong personalities created a number of beers with big, strong personalities. All of which satisfies the big, strong personalities of Thompson's regulars just fine, thank you very much. Black Widow Porter, featuring a healthy dose of black licorice, is one such brew of distinction. The Widow (as well as a sweet woodruff-infused version known as the Black Widower) still ventures out into the light every year around Halloween. Beer behemoths such as Old Cthulu, Romulan Imperial Ale and Pole Ax are all big ideas that grabbed hold and found voices in the Thompson's old stainless Grundy fermenters. Today, Thompson Brewer Jennifer Kent keeps cantankerous resident spirit Franklin at bay while creating all kinds of interesting and unique ales. Here you will find such concoctions as Ginger Red, Spanish Coffee Porter, Magnuson Strong Ale (a tribute to a Thompson regular lost), and Bumble Blue Pale Ale. Jennifer's fine ales also represent at outside events like the Yamhill Lavender Festival. Thompson's annual Barley Cup Brewfest is held every June and is sure to delight with live music on the patio and a variety of beers from McMenamins and guests alike. 33rd State IPA 5th Floor IPA A Beer Called Death Beery Boysenberry Black Widow Porter Black Widower Boysen Les Bois Boysenberry Stout Bumble Blue Pale Ale Citra Up Hammerhead Citra Up Pole Ax Currant State of Affairs Dark Chocolate Sea Salt Terminator DB's Lager Deacon Blue Golden Drunkin' Pumpkin Stout Dry-Hopped Little Comet Fresh Hop Dry-Hopped Thundercone Gilley's Gold Ginger Ruby Hammerhead Hazel Bazel 2.0 Hop House IPA Hutter High Altbier Jam Session ISA Jennifer Juniper Double IPA Kharbooja Gold Kris Kringle 2018 Lady Hopabellum Guava Double IPA Little Comet Fresh Hop Mannschaft Kölsch McMenamins Irish Stout Moro IPA Mulligan Amber New Moon Porter Oregon Night Paddy's Pale Peppered Gold Pole Ax Purple Haze Ranger Jeff IPA Raspberry Lavender Red Flannel IRA Red Riser IRA Resilience Butte County Proud IPA Rise Up Pale Ale Roads End CDA Ruby Ale Spanish Coffee Terminator Sunflower IPA Tart Raspberry Vanilla Stout Terminator Stout The Drunkin' Pumpkin The G Effect Double IPA The Shattered Pumpkin This Is A Beer For A Superhero Named Tony.
