About McMenamins on Monroe

Beavers welcome! And we'll even let the Ducks in.
We open at 10 am or earlier on OSU football game days.

Got an hour between classes? Head across the street to grab a McMenamins signature burger (and maybe a quick pint of Hammerhead — we won't tell). Conveniently located just steps away from the OSU campus, this spot has long housed favorite student hangouts, such as the legendary "El" diner.

McMenamins on Monroe is the neighborhood meeting spot for students, faculty, staff and townies alike! Play a few rounds of pool, check out the brewery, wonder at the wall of sinks, or simply grab a seat at the bar. Come one and all to raise a pint for the Beavers, for Corvallis, for Oregon – cheers!

Private events & large parties
McMenamins on Monroe is available for large group events*. The upper level holds up to 100 guests, 75 seated, and features pool tables and shuffleboard. Groups over 30 may reserve the entire space. Call the pub for inquiries or to reserve: (541) 758-0080

History

This stretch of Monroe Avenue from Kings Boulevard to 21st Street has been one of the busiest areas in town for more than three quarters of a century. From car repair to shoe repair, and from a record store and barbers to popular student restaurants, the businesses have long been a hub for students' off-campus life.

So pause and reflect on how the scenery out these windows has changed over the years....
