Kevin Watson is a roots-driven singer-songwriter from Portland, Oregon whose 2025 debut album Troubadour blends the grit of outlaw country with the classic warmth of folk rock storytelling. With a weathered voice and a full-band sound steeped in Americana tradition, Watson crafts songs about searching, heartache, and redemption.

Inspired by artists like Townes Van Zandt, Gillian Welch, and Sturgill Simpson, Watson's writing weaves acoustic guitar finger-picking and warm Telecasters into a full band sound made possible by his assembled group of some of Portland's finest professional musicians - Michael Backus on lead guitar, Sean Hudson on bass, Rich Landar on keys, and Kyle Owen on drums. 

Troubadour was recorded over the course of 2025 in the Pacific Northwest at Michael Backus' Juniper Studios (Milwaukee) and Brud Giles' Fremont Recording (Sauvie Island). His follow up project is also already in the works.
