About Pacific Northwest Legends & Lore
The Pacific Northwest is full of strange, wild, historic,
and folkloric tales. These include Puget Sound shipwrecks, ghostly pirates that
inspired the movie The Goonies, haunted lighthouses, sailor
superstitions, Bigfoot, sea serpents and other cryptids, even space aliens!
Historian, author, and professor Ira Wesley Kitmacher digs deep into the
region's many fascinating legends.
