About Harry Tracy: The Last Desperado of Washington

Harry Tracy: The Last Desperado of Washington

From the late 1890s to 1902, the notorious gunman Harry Tracy was on a crime spree across Oregon and Washington. His armed robberies and prison escapes dominated the news headlines, making him a feared household name. His exploits covered ground in Bothell, including the famous gun battle that took place on the grounds of the old Wayne Golf Course.

Five panelists will present the legendary story of Washington's "last desperado," tracing his steps in Bothell and including stories from early Bothell citizens who had run-ins with this dangerous and tragic figure of Pacific Northwest true crime history.
