The Winterlings

The Winterlings formed in Corvallis in 2007. Since then, they've released 4 albums, made the CMJ, AMA, and RMR radio charts as well as Top 30 charts at stations across the country, toured the US, Canada, and Mexico, and have garnered great reviews from nationally recognized roots music publications such as PASTE and No Depression. Their iconic song "Jennie Hodgers," which tells the true story of an Irish immigrant woman who dressed as a man to sneak into the Union Army and fight in the Civil War, was recently featured in a documentary about this extraordinary historical figure.

Now based in Seattle, The Winterlings released their third album, You Are Acres, in January 2016 with a sold out show at Seattle's great listening room, Fremont Abbey Arts Center. Shortly after touring from Alaska to Los Angeles, The Winterlings stunned fans by releasing their fourth album, Poems That Live As People, in November 2016. The album reached #21 on the Alternative Folk Chart. With new classics like "Be Kind to the Housefly" and "Crawlspace," The Winterlings continue to surprise and inspire audiences worldwide.

"They're more than simply superb; they're absolutely spellbinding. Poems That Live As People feels like a milestone, one that sets this duo apart and establishes their spectacular, singular sound. There's no denying the immediately infectious approach that underscores practically every one of the ten tracks found here." -No Depression
