Tecolote Rock Band is a Spanish-language rock group based in Portland, founded six years ago by a group of friends who decided to combine their experience and passion for music into a single project. Initially, the plan was to form a metal band, but as the members got to know each other musically and developed their chemistry, they began playing Spanish-language rock classics to build the band. Over time, they discovered that this was where their true strength lay. Far from simply replicating the original versions, the band brings its own unique vision to every song, incorporating arrangements and nuances that enrich the sound while always respecting the essence that made those tracks true classics. The result is a show that honors the legacy of rock in Spanish while offering the audience a fresh, authentic experience at every performance.

Tecolote Rock Band es una agrupación de rock en español originaria de Portland, fundada hace seis años por un grupo de amigos que decidió unir su experiencia y pasión por la música en un mismo proyecto. En un principio, la intención era formar una banda de metal, pero mientras los integrantes se conocían como músicos y afinaban su química, comenzaron a interpretar clásicos del rock en español como una manera de construir la banda. Con el tiempo, descubrieron que ahí estaba su verdadero fuerte. Lejos de limitarse a reproducir las versiones originales, la banda aporta una visión propia a cada canción, incorporando arreglos y matices que enriquecen su sonido, siempre respetando la esencia que hizo de esos temas verdaderos clásicos. El resultado es un espectáculo que honra el legado del rock en tu idioma, pero que al mismo tiempo ofrece al público una experiencia fresca y auténtica en cada presentación.

Joe it's a Mexican descent originally from  Reynosa Tamaulipas, his early influences started in metal punk, dark punk, later German bands and of course admire musicians like nine inch, bowie among many. Music became his life at an early age. He specialized in percussion. As his evolution as a musician grew he expanded his horizons and ventured deep in music. All genres or walls Joe loves to explore or climb. His passion hasn't slowed with the years.  He loves to play anywhere and anything as long sound is running wild through his hands.  (By Alejandro Barragan)
