To survive, they'll play as characters from the game: meek Spencer becomes a brave explorer (Dwayne Johnson); hulky jock Fridge becomes a tiny genius (Kevin Hart); It-girl Bethany becomes a bookworm professor (Jack Black); and unathletic Martha becomes an amazonian warrior (Karen Gillan). To beat the game and return to the real world with their lives, they'll have to start seeing things in an entirely different way. The ever-evolving domed structure was later reinvented as Duffy's Irish Pub and finally, St. Johns Theater & Pub. And here we are! Friends and families are welcome today to enjoy a casual meal, either indoors or out. Faithfully continuing in its role as neighborhood pub and gathering spot, our theater (with its excellent acoustics) was upgraded in fall 2014 with new seating, sound system and screen. The theater now features first-run film releases for a reasonable price of $5 matinee for adults and kids, and $7 adults and $5 kids for showings after 6 p.m. Enjoy McMenamins handcrafted ales, wines, ciders, spirits and full food menu during the movie. St. Johns Pub allows pets at our sidewalk seating only. Accommodations Our theater offers a quality entertainment experience for deaf, hard of hearing and vision impaired guests. Our movie showings are closed captioned, and we offer individual Captiview closed caption devices that sit in your seat’s cupholder. In addition, we offer two types of headphones: hearing impaired headphones that amplify the dialogue, or visual impaired headphones that describe the scenery and action. Just inquire before showtime to use any of these devices. It stood just inside the main gate of the Lewis and Clark Exposition, the World's Fair that drew more than two million visitors to Northwest Portland....
