A young Black filmmaker from America's whitest city, Portland, embarks on a journey through the Blackest cities in the US, exploring the evolving meaning of home, the roots of Black migration, and the ever-shifting future of Black identity in America.
Devin Boss is on a quest. And he wants you to join him as he explores this simple question: Where We Goin?
A millennial Black filmmaker and artist raised in Portland, Oregon, Boss ventures out to uncover the deeper truths that shaped his city and his identity. He invites us into the stories of Black creatives and cultural leaders reclaiming narrative, place, and future.
Two Stories. One Journey.
These two films spark a national conversation across the Black diaspora about what has been lost, what lives on, and how we build a future where we all belong.
