Thea's Wedding Band is the most recent project between two sisters Lousia Mae (vocals and guitar) Seda (vocals and guitar), their father Benjamin (guitar) and step-father Jeff (banjo) occasionally joined by drums. The group brings a unique blend of rhythmic, melodic harmonies, falling in the grey area between DIY northwest folk, americana and traditional. A sound similar to that of Neko Case and the Corn Sisters, or Calexico. Having grown up influenced by both long-time musicians Benjamin and Jeff, the sisters add harmony driven old time folk rock vocals to Benjamin's intricate finger pick style and Jeff's unique approach to banjo playing.
