The story of Edgefield is embedded in the history of Troutdale, Oregon. Chris Garza, director of Troutdale Historical Society, presents the humble beginnings of THS in 1968, its original charter, and how THS helped save the Edgefield property. Learn how a dedicated group of volunteers helped build local museums, collect artifacts, and continue to preserve Troutdale's history for future generations.
Jon Smart, manager of McMenamins History Department, tells the story of Edgefield from its original function as the Multnomah County Poor Farm to its transformation into the hotel, gardens, spa, restaurants, pubs, theater, brewery, winery, distillery, and concert venue we know today as McMenamins Edgefield.
