Ruth Navarre (Halcyon the Mermaid) is a classical and folk multi-instrumentalist. As a solo artist, she sings and plays the Celtic harp. She also plays fiddle in Irish and Americana folk bands. In 2023 she performed at Fremont Arts Abbey, Northwest Folklife, Music at the Falls concert series, Realms Unknown Festival, Tumwater Falls Fest, and Seattle WNDR Museum. Look out for her upcoming music video, "Unwilling Heroes (The Dispossessed)." As a professional mermaid, she is available for water performances and dry-land appearances and is a member of the Emerald Sea Sirens.
