About The Dusty 45s

The Dusty 45s

The Dusty 45s have inspired and fired up crowds for over two decades to the delight of fans and critics alike. With their signature style and unique sound, the band is a consistently powerful and energetic player in the Americana field.

The band was founded in 1997 by charismatic singer/songwriter, guitarist and trumpeter, Billy Joe Huels. Huels' songs draw inspiration from the roots of rock, rhythm and blues, surf, honky-tonk and jazz. The band also consists of Kohen Burrill (drums), Robin Cady (upright bass) and Rod Cook (Lead Guitar).

The Dusty 45s have toured extensively. They backed Rock and Roll Hall of famer, Wanda Jackson many times, including when they joined her for Adele's "21" tour in 2011. The band has shared the stage with Brandi Carlile, Lyle Lovett, John Prine, The Ventures, Lucinda Williams, Leann Rhymes and Dick Dale, to name a few. In 2007, Huels received critical acclaim for his portrayal of Buddy Holly at Seattle's 5th Avenue Theatre. In 2019, he interviewed PBS "Country Music" documentarian, Ken Burns, at Meany Hall in front of a sold-out audience.

The Dusty 45s have released 7 recordings. The 2014 album, "Live and On Fire", showcases the best of their bold and brassy sound recorded live at the Triple Door in Seattle, WA. Huels and the band are currently working on a new recording, to be released in 2022.

About The Delstroyers

The Delstroyers

The Delstroyers emerged from the mists of Seattle, WA in 2016, awash in reverb and cloaked in black. Their dark, instrumental surf melodies pay homage to both the founders of the genre and the revivalists of the 1990s, all wrapped in an undying love for things that go bump in the night. In 2017 they unleashed their debut full-length record "Diabolical!" on an unsuspecting populace, and the summer of 2019 will see them team up with Hi-Tide Recordings to bring forth "Resurrected", four new tracks of spooky drip and biting fuzz

About Tropical Itch

Tropical Itch

"Cap'n" Cook commandeers a combo of old pals from Seattle bands The Ukadelics and Lushy for an exotic adventure into the boozy waters of vintage south seas tunes and exotica lounge. A jigger of jazz, a splash of the tropics, a dash of humor all shaken together with classic stylings. The band name is curtesy of tiki cocktail pioneer Harry Yee who mixed the first Tropical Itch near Waikiki beach in 1957. When you need to escape the ordinary, this music is like a trip to the place we all really wish we were soaking up the sun, surf and sand.
SCRATCH IT!!."

About Lushy

Lushy

Lushy concocts a refreshing pop style of original samples and bossa beats with elements of vintage-Latin jazz, exotica, surf, new wave and sixties pop to create their own distinctive intercontinental sound. Most importantly, they have established a solid reputation for originality far beyond their roots in the lounge and exotica scene. What started as a lighthearted recording session among friends has now turned into a lasting and successful project. In the basement tiki den, with fully stocked cocktail bar, that is their studio, Lushy was formed and began compiling an extensive catalog of original songs. With scores of successful gigs from Vancouver BC to Los Angeles to Berlin, Lushy has steadily risen through the ranks of Seattle's musical landscape. Led by refreshingly dynamic vocalist Annabella Kirby and musical mastermind Andy Sodt, guitar and trumpet wizard Patrick Napper and holding down the rhythm section Matt Nims and Shane Peck on bass and drums. Lushy holds sway over every stage they inhabit. If you like the Brazilian Girls, B-52′s, Portishead, Os Mutantes, Pink Martini, Astrud Gilberto and Martin Denny you'll love Lushy! No matter what the comparison, Lushy is simply extraordinary. Band Members Andy Sodt-saxophones, keyboards, flute, melodica, pianorgani, uke, cocktail kit. Annabella Kirby-vocals, tambourine, clarinet. Matt Nims- bass/guitar Patrick Napper- guitar/trumpet Shane Peck- drums (and sometimes joining us) Lynval Golding- guitar, toaster, percussion, vocals.
