Portland's longest performing gypsy jazz band, the Kung Pao Chickens, has been entertaining audiences in the northwest for over two decades. The band is composed of three guitars featuring Jon Neufeld and Tracy Kim on lead and Joe Kim on rhythm guitar, with Tim Acott on the bass. They perform the music of Django Reinhardt and pull from vintage hot swing repertoire creating exciting blend of lyrical intricate guitar work layered over highly rhythmic grooves.
