About The Kelps

The Kelps

The Kelps are an 8-piece progressive funk band, with our kelp forest stretching across several Seattle neighborhoods. Our primary hubs are Ballard and U-District, where we serve up super chilly jams at the coolest underground venues. Composed of 8-10 friends (depending on who's skipping rehearsal to hang out with a romantic interest), the Kelps play a diverse range of genres with an entirely original set composed in three frantic days which now exist as a blur of crumpled up paper. Come hang out in the Kelps forest and enjoy the melodic jams.

About Man on TV

Man on TV

Man on TV is a guitar, bass, and drums trio local to Tacoma. Their music can be described as fast, up tempo funk-rock with disco influences and frequent improvisational playing. They cater a well diversified mix of covers and originals. The group comprises lead guitarist and vocalist Jake Shipp, bassist and vocalist Max Finley, and drummer Ryan Gipson. All three members originally hail from the Southeast and now reside in western Washington. Check out the following link to access their recorded and live work, as well as their social media page .

About Moving Pieces

Moving Pieces

Moving Pieces started as a garage rock band and has steadily evolved over the years into a progressive psychedelic rock band blasting off the confines of earth and transporting listeners into the great beyond.

Based in Tacoma, WA their music echoes an interstellar post-hardcore landscape with melodic passages reminiscent of At The Drive In, Alice in Chains, King Crimson and Tool with their own twist of brain bending time signatures polyrhythms and lyrics that deal with loss, love and drifting away into space.

Surfing the stages of the PNW at places like The Tractor Tavern, Airport Tavern and The Valley has been this band's greatest pleasure as it gears up to enter the studio this fall to record their first debut album. A tight, fun and energetic band to see live!
