About Hanna Masha
Folk & rock
Hanna has been playing music her whole life, growing and
inspired by her experiences playing music with friends, first in Seattle band
Hana & the Goose, and in Tacoma bands Masha & Lars, Cocoon, and Channel
Relief, moving between guitar, violin, and bass. As Hanna Masha, she delves
into her personal songwriting style, folk and rock inspired with elements of
drone, experimental, and dark folk. Her first album A New Unruly shows her
exploration in multi-instrumental 4-track recordings. Hanna Masha's new ep came
together with the inspiration of a cairn: high desert guide but more so, the
meaningful yet delicate interaction between a person and nature. A writer and
music crafter, her songs explore life struggles as reflected and opened up in
nature.
