It was a dense tangle of blackberries, briars and weeds, so we brought in goats. And after 11 days of snacking, the invasive plants were gone! Today that terraced hillside is a beautiful place to enjoy a cocktail and a meal with views of the water, marina, Tacoma and Elks Temple itself!
