In the summer of 1983, we threw open the doors of our first pub, the Barley Mill. We had no idea then that it would unleash a whirlwind of beer, fun, music and so, so much more. 43 years later, our taps are still flowing, the Grateful Dead is still bumping and the party isn't over yet!

We're celebrating 43 amazing, trippy, beer-filled years with a day of specials across the land and a just-for-fun Passport stamp. Join us and raise a glass to where we've been and where we're headed next.

McMenamins 43rd Anniversary Hunt: Search for the Barley Brew
We're sending you out to some of our earliest breweries to celebrate the pub that started it all. Visit the first four locations below between June 1 and 13, then finish the hunt (and discover the Barley Brew) at the Barley Mill on June 13.  Collect stamps and buttons along the way and snag a tie-dye bucket hat for visiting all 5 locations!
