The Riverstones

About The Riverstones

The Riverstones

The Riverstones are a folk-rock band from Bend, Oregon, carving out songs that roll like weather over open country.  Made up of equal parts Americana grit and Celtic fire. Their music has been called "river mist and lantern light," but don't be fooled: it can kick up dust, rattle the rafters, and roar with the kind of storm that leaves you changed.

With Rachelle Otasu lacing the air with fiddle, keys, and vocals, Brian Cash driving the melodies on acoustic and electric guitar and vocals, Steve Anderson pounding out heartbeat rhythms on drums, percussion, accordion, horns, penny whistle, and vocals, and Jason Jackson anchoring it all with upright acoustic bass, The Riverstones build songs meant for motion.

These are road-tested tunes-westward-leaning, sky-shaking, and soul-lifting. Ballads that carry you. Storm songs that wake you up. Anthems built for the nights when the crowd is loud, the floor is shaking, and you can feel the whole room singing along.
