About Myles Smith
Myles Smith's story
begins in Luton, England, where he learned guitar and piano by age 12 and honed
his craft playing pubs and open-mic nights. As his music began to connect with
audiences online, heartfelt covers like "Sweater Weather" and "I Found" paved
the way for original songs including "Solo" and "My Home." He reached meteoric
heights with the release of his breakthrough hit "Stargazing," which amassed
over one billion streams marked the biggest global song by a UK artist in 2024,
peaking at #19 on the Billboard Hot 100 while spending 52 weeks on the chart,
in addition to hitting #1 at Top 40, Hot AC, and Alternative radio. The success
of the track earned him the BRITs Rising Star Award in 2025, in addition to
being named a TIME100 honoree, BBC Introducing's Artist of the Year and landing
a spot on the BBC Sound of 2025 longlist.
In the past 12 months
alone, Myles has played to over 100,000 people across sold-out headlining shows
in the UK, Europe, Australia, New Zealand, and North America, in addition to a
packed-out Glastonbury performance. He notched his second #1 at Top 40 radio with
his hit single "Nice To Meet You," which broke into the top 25 on the
Billboard Hot 100 and earned a nomination for 'Song Of The Year' at the
2026 BRIT Awards. "Nice To Meet You" previously hit #1 at Alternative radio and
earns Myles the title of the first male solo artist to hit #1 for both
Alternative and Top 40 radio with his first two singles. This summer, Myles
will embark on his 2026 World Tour in addition to joining Ed Sheeran as
the main support for the North American leg of his Loop Tour. With his
anticipated debut album on the way, Myles' ability to connect through
heartfelt storytelling and melodic sincerity has made him one of music's most
compelling new voices and his trajectory shows no signs of slowing down.
