About The Fourth Friday Free Square Dance
Come join the Fourth Friday Free Square Dance hootenany at
Edgefield Blackberry Hall. It's all ages fun and you don't have to know what
you're doin'. We'll have a fabulous dance caller to tell you how it all
goes, and a fearsome four-piece stringband to keep you movin. Edgefield
has numerous bars and restaurants, a distillery, brewery, winery, and more.
Make a whole evening out of it!
Music by the Stumptown Stringband, who fuels dances all up and
down the West Coast, including headlining this year's Dare to Be Square in
Berkeley CA, and features Annie Staninec, a ferocious fiddler who has
fascinated audiences in over 20 countries, and will bring a smile to every face
in the house.
Calling by PNW premiere caller Steph Noll, a familiar face at
the Portland Old-Time Gatherings, as well as many other local and regional
festivals and dances
