About the Album
In the '90s and '00s, the Grateful Dead released a series of albums called Dick's Picks, featuring live concert recordings from the vault and named after Grateful Dead tape vault archivist Dick Latvala. Released in 1996, Dick's Picks Volume 4 was originally recorded on February 13 and 14, 1970 at the Fillmore East in New York City, where they played along with the Allman Brothers Band and Love.
