LGBTQ+ history comes alive when three local queer couples share their "how we met" stories. These storytellers will present their first-person experiences recently published as short stories in Crossing Paths: Queer Moments That Changed Everything, a new anthology complied by Our Bold Voices founder, Paul Iarrobino. Come celebrate queer joy with us this Pride Month.
Paul Iarrobino is a queer elder storyteller, author, and organizer of events and book tours. His organization Our Bold Voices creates unique storytelling events that lift underserved voices. Crossing Paths: Queer Moments That Changed Everything is Paul's fourth anthology.

These events are open to everyone interested in Pacific Northwest history, and beyond! Often co-sponsored by local or state historical and civic organizations, we bring you experts, scholars, first-person experiencers, historians and documentaries expounding on topics from indigenous history to the birth of Portland, early explorers to hop growing, and on and on! It's like being back in the classroom - except this time you get to settle into comfortable seats and enjoy a drink or two with dinner while you listen and learn.
This event is eligible for a History Pub Stamp
