Bill is a professional musician and instructor based in Bend for the last 10 years. He's an award winning singer-songwriter, multi-instrumentalist and engaging performer. He's associated with several bands in Central Oregon with the main one being Honey Don't along with his wife, bassist and musical partner Shelley Gray. As a solo performer Bill Plays and sings a wide range of styles. His roots are in bluegrass and old-time but blues, jazz, country, swing and rock and roll come into play in a given set. Audiences can expect anything from exceptional original tunes to choice covers all delivered in his dusty, smoky road-worn voice. Not to mention some decidedly deft guitar skills. Whether solo, with Honey Don't, The Silvertone Devils or on banjo with Use'Ta Do, veteran musician, Bill Powers delivers the goods.
