Jet Black Pearl returns to light up our Boxing Day Party with her untamed, mad-hatter magic. Hailing from the Netherlands, she brings her inimitable blend of European soundscape and theatrical whimsy, building funky rhythms with her loop station-layering flute riffs, vocal percussion, harmonies, one hot accordion, and the occasional squeal from her trusty rubber pigs. For this special show, she'll be joined by the ever-grooving Bill Athens on double bass and the bold brass flair of James Powers on trombone. Expect a wild, witty, and wonderful celebration to close out the holiday.

Jet Black Pearl's music sounds like a mad hatters European gypsy musette tea party with a punk attitude and a party playlist made out of an accordion, the flute, a human beat box, a music box, a toy piano and a loop station with Nina Hagen, Edith Piaf and Captain Beefheart as honorary guests.
