About Laura Ogren

Laura Ogren

Laura Ogren is a dynamic singer-songwriter hailing from Olympia, Washington, whose musical journey began with a lifelong passion for singing. She first found her voice leading worship, honing her craft and connecting with audiences through heartfelt leadership. In 2023, Laura transitioned into secular music, embracing a new creative chapter. She initially gained experience as the lead singer of the band Middle Ground before embarking on her solo project in 2024. Her debut single, "Paralyzed," released in November 2024, marked the beginning of her solo career, followed by the evocative track "Tide" in January 2025. Blending the rich, emotive tones of neo-soul with the catchy, introspective vibes of indie pop, Laura's music has quickly resonated with listeners worldwide, amassing over 800 monthly listeners on Spotify in just a few months.

In addition to her solo work, Laura has collaborated with the local Seattle band WINEHOUSE, lending her vocals as a backup singer and performing alongside them at notable events like SoFar shows and the South Sound Block Party. With a soulful voice, a talent for crafting emotionally resonant songs, and a genre-defying sound, Laura Ogren is an artist on the rise, blending raw authenticity with a captivating stage presence.
