About Zack Medlin

Zack Medlin

Releasing his debut EP American Dream in August of 2023, Zack Medlin has wandered jnto the virtual and physical landscape of what it is to be a "songwriter" in the 2020s. American Dream was a 5-song story of leaving Evangelical Christianity, and many of the relationships that fell apart in that journey.

After deciding to release voice memos in 2024, a collection of songs entirely recorded from the eponymous iPhone application-as well as a call back to his first single voice memos -Zack has returned with the first single Phone Book from his upcoming album. The song ties together experiences of loss, relational turmoil, and a general sense of ungroundedness that seems to define what it's like to be an artist in the modern era.

Zack remains embedded in his community in Olympia, WA and has performed alongside other regional songwriters such as Generifus, Amelia Day, Avery Cochrane and The Bed Heads.

About Lana Rae Jarvis

Lana Rae Jarvis

Lana Rae Jarvis is a singer/songwriter in the proud tradition of indie/folk/pop. Her desire to act took her to LA at 19, and her desire to stop the worst effects of climate change brought her to Olympia this past year to study at Evergreen. Taking inspiration from songwriters such as Neko Case, Tracy Chapman, and Joni Mitchell, she hopes to come to understand herself and the world a little better through music.
