About Imaginal Disc Part 1: Metamorphosis of the Caterpillar

Torin Frost and Lauren Santi present their first film, Imaginal Disc Part 1: Metamorphosis of the Caterpillar, a sensational and explorational hip hop musical. Following an 8,000-mile road trip through Mexico, the epic journey is cinematically captured and scored with 10 original songs. Experience this independent film in historical and intimate PNW theaters.

About Imaginal Disc Part 2: Crackin' the Chrysalis

The explorational cinematic musical saga by Torin Frost and Lauren Santi continues. Another 8,000-mile migration following the monarch butterfly through Mexico has come full-circle, though this time, the unfortunate losses within their population, habitat and host-plant, the milkweed, have been a shock to the two artists. Lauren is still in remission from cancer, and Imaginal Disc Part 2: Cracking the Chrysalis dives into the medicinal journey that's been unfolding. Set before the events depicted in the love- and light-filled first installment, Cracking the Chrysalis is a bold juxtaposition that examines sickness, monarch endangerment and the current state of the world, while maintaining its predecessor's raw expressions of joy, love and healing - set to, of course, a new, original 10-song soundtrack.
