Cary Novotny was raised in Stevenson WA., and has been playing guitar and singing professionally in the Portland area for two decades. Novotny possesses a powerful musical style, with strong rhythm and a sure sense of harmony and tone. He has recorded and performed with many great bands in the world of Irish music, including Cul An Ti, Kevin Burke, The Bridies, and An Tua.

Eddie Parente gained his diverse musical chops in Boston, Massachusetts, where he played in a Mexican mariachi band while studying classical Indian music with tabla master Shashi Nayak, attending Irish traditional music sessions and playing in an International folk dance band.

Since moving to the Portland area, he has continued to play and record on an epic scale with a wide variety of musical groups, covering many styles. Some of his past and present associations include Portland State University Symphony Orchestra, Cascade Symphony Orchestra as Principal Violinist, Everything's Jake Swing, the legendary Celtic rock group The Full Shilling, a 10 piece western swing group Ranch Dressing, Cul An Ti (Celtic), Raven, the "Trail Band" best described as an 8 piece folk orchestra and David Valdez's "Septeto Latino"?just to name a few.

Parente has also released a CD of his original jazz and latin compositions, Touraco.
