Of late there's been a distinct lack of fun; we're here to rectify that problem. The songs sung by this fun force were composed of floating rivers, spelunking vacant mines, pub crawling sidewalks, and summoning a higher power in the presence of a campfire. Living in these modern times, one can always find constant reminders of the laws that protect us from danger, and also in some cases, fun. In that irony lies the birthplace of The Fun Police.

Established in 2017, Checkered Record is a dynamic six-piece alternative ska ensemble hailing from the vibrant music scene of Seattle, Washington. Fusing elements of pop, ska, reggae, and rock, their diverse repertoire caters to a wide spectrum of musical tastes. Rooted in poignant messaging and delivered with infectious energy, the band adds a touch of tongue-in-cheek irreverence for a lighthearted atmosphere.
Comprising seasoned ska veterans formerly of The Longshots, The Diablotones, and The Fun Police, Checkered Record boasts a distinctive sound that guarantees to get audiences onto the dance floor. Mister Blank is an eight piece band from Seattle playing a variety of ska, punk and other junk. Formed in Seattle by friendly eccentrics hailing from the US and Canada, they bring a unique contradiction of apologizing rude boys that bring it every show, every time. Having previously played together in other bands for several years all over the Seattle area and west coast, Mister Blank is now ready with newly recorded infectious tunes to drive you crazy in the best way - in the form of a new album called Blankenstein.

Mister Blank has toured the U.S. west coast a number of times and shared the stage with Mustard Plug, The Mad Caddies, Big D & the Kids Table, The Toasters, Voodoo Glow Skulls, and Buck-O-Nine. The band was featured as the "Loud and Local" band of the week on KISW 99.9 along with features on KUGR college radio and KFQX racketeer radio.

In 2024 Mister Blank is starting the year strong with the release of a long EP of cover songs all done up in Mister Blank's unique high powered style. This will be followed up eminently with a second full length album of originals.
