About Strangely Alright

Strangely Alright

Strangely Alright are sonic time-travelers. They paint paisley patterned pictures that shimmer with the 60's mercurial blend of darkness and innocence, they mesh psychedelia and pop melodies together, they run rock muscle through the most danceable of tunes and they are the perfect blend of past and present. Their reference points, early Floyd's whimsy, later Beatles experimentalism, Bolan-esque strut, as well as later retro-revivalists such as Redd Kross and Jellyfish, might suggest that they spend their time glancing back to past glories. But they are here NOW, a band making music for today. And while still here they are trying to be part of the solution, not the problem. They ask us to consider: Be Kind. It Matters. Love Always Wins.

About The Rat Utopia Experiment

The Rat Utopia Experiment

The Rat Utopia Experiment, AKA T.R.U.E, is an anarchist American rock band based out of Tacoma, Washington. Formed in June of 2022, they consist of five members--Sophia (vocalist), Aine (bassist), Maddox (lead guitarist), Killian (rhythm guitarist), and Evan (drummer), who dominate the stage as well as their enemies. Despite their contrasting music tastes, the band comes together to form a sound that's a tragic clash of metal riffs, pop punk, emo, a sprinkle of nu-metal, and themes of anti-establishment that give you the vague urge to jay-walk. They are in the process of writing tons of lore-driven music and more.
