About The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra

The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra

Music Fans,
The Kareem Kandi World Orchestra will be performing in the Spanish Ballroom at McMenamins Elks Temple on Sunday July 3rd.
I'll be joined by Greg Feingold on bass, Stefan Schatz on drums, and special guest Dan Kramlich on piano. We'll also be featuring several students from our Weekly Jazz Workshop.

The first set will be livestreamed. It will be free to view and can be watched at these locations:

We'll also be doing a livestream interview with Dan at 2pm PST. The interview is free to watch and can be viewed at the links listed above.

About our guest:

Pianist Dan Kramlich has established himself as one of Seattle's most sought after performers, educators, and adjudicators. His style was informed by jazz legends Fred Hersch and Billy Hart, with whom he worked extensively while studying at Western Michigan University.
Dan can be heard on many recordings by local musicians, including Steve Treseler's "Center Song," the Vern Sielert Dektet's "From There to Here," Bernie Jacobs' "One by One," and Phil Parisot's "Lingo" and "Creekside."

He currently performs with his own group, the Dan Kramlich Grunge Trio, as well as the Javatown Swing Orchestra, Jennifer Kienzle, and many others.

Dan also maintains a busy teaching studio. He currently directs the jazz ensemble at Seattle Pacific University, teaches many courses at Bellevue College, and maintains a busy private teaching studio in Seattle.
