About Melody Federer

Melody Federer

Melody Federer’s music is at once enigmatic and candidly charming. Texas-born with a nomadic soul, she honed her craft in New York, Paris, Los Angeles and Nashville and now lives in Seattle, where she continues to gain recognition as an up-and-coming talent in the world of Indie and Pop music.

A noted solo artist as well as an accomplished writer for various musicians, her style is genre agnostic, and her stage presence is effortlessly versatile. She can capture a room with just her voice and guitar or with a full band, and she holds her own standing in as a guest with legends of the industry.

About LASKA

LASKA

LASKA is fronted by three sisters who write beautifully self-aware and earnest songs. Hannah, Mookie, and Bex Morton are the foundation of LASKA. The melancholy, harmony-driven sound draws from the midwestern heartland just as much as the LA-coast and continues to evolve as their landscape changes. All three sisters contribute to the writing and have a way of leaving you at the beck and call of a song’s emotional territory. Haunting, reflective, and lovely. LASKA has been playing together in different varieties since 2016 (and in some ways for their whole life) and their live sound blends rugged guitar, synthesizers, and pedal affected violins, bringing listeners from song-in-your-bedroom intimacy to vast moments in sonic canyons. The Mortons play alongside Evan Middlesworth (producer/guitar). Their newest EP, entitled “Fader,” is a fresh sound for LASKA. A lofi-drum-machine escapes to summer crickets and AM radio nylon-string guitar. The low-energy, yet pop oriented productions feels like a vessel for the words to be heard. “Fader” comes after the beginning of the bands’ recent transition to Los Angeles.

About Craetorus

Craetorus

Craetorus is an art pop/alt jazz band from Bremerton, WA. In 2018, they started out as a solo artist, playing local Kitsap shows to gain a feel for the community of people supporting art, but has gained traction through the Sofar Sounds community to continue expanding their music. In hopes of paving the way for the queer/people of color community, they plan to continue working towards their first EP.
