About Belinda Underwood and Guests

Belinda Underwood and Guests

Belinda Underwood is a life-long musician who brings elements of world folk art traditions together with her own Western training and luscious soul-creation. She composes and writes equally passionately about love and human evolution as she does trees and animals, using a clever wit to reveal the interconnectedness of all things. Though she's often seeing playing upright bass, for these shows Belinda will be treating us to a trifecta of voice, baritone ukulele and analog synthesizer bass which she plays with her feet!

About featuring special guest Kokoma

Blues & folk

featuring special guest Kokoma

Kokoma Ika is a musician who has traveled the world playing a fusion of funk, folk and blues as a guitarist, blues/folk harmonica and classical/jazz piano player.  With roots deep in the Delta Blues and other indigenous styles, he integrates his diverse influences to form original music.

After many years living on Easter Island in the South Pacific listening to the tunes of nature, he spent eight years touring Asia, and Australia.  Nowadays he spends time writing music for film and making music videos.
