Chris Arellano's deeply personal Americana weaves together the Norteno music of his Northern New Mexico upbringing with Alternative Country and Blues influences, for a style that he calls Nuevo Americana. Fused with song and story, Spanish and English, his transcendent lyrics move listeners with emotion and passion.
Adam Larson had been writing lyrics without any instrumentation for years, but in 2010, a back injury sent him home to lay low and recover. Instead of taking the doctor's advice to "watch movies," he did something he always wanted to do; he bought a guitar and started learning to play. Finally, the songs he had been writing had a melody and he decided to pursue his newfound passion.
After playing and singing in a bluegrass band for several years and gaining many great experiences such as playing at the Oregon Jamboree multiple times, Adam decided it was time to move forward and form a country band. In 2016, drummer Landen Mattson joined Adam in this endeavor. With a fiery enthusiasm, the two began working on songs and searching for musicians to join them. Patrick Ward of the Rounders (bass) and Colin McHill (lead guitar and pedal steel) were the perfect fit, and Adam Larson & Co. was formed in early 2017 in Corvallis, OR. With a sound full of floor-stomping enegry, and a classic style reminiscent of the ‘60s and ‘70s, Adam Larson & Co. have put on explosive live shows, packing out venues, and are pursuing music full-time. They teamed up with producer Nate Roos of The Castle House studio in Lebanon, Oregon to record their first single, "These Colors Never Run," solemnly honoring veterans. Now they are working toward their full length album where they can record their hard-hitting, energetic sound and presence that fans have come to expect from their shows
