About Shae Altered

Shae Williams, who performs under the moniker SHAE ALTERED, is a dark and dreamy alt-pop act from Portland, OR. Her music is an intense and melodic blend of alternative and electronic pop that straddles the line between indie and commercial. SHAE ALTERED's debut EP, Sleep Talk, was released the 30th of December 2016. The EP was reviewed by Northwest Music Scene, and the title track from the EP was featured on several blogs including Substream Magazine's playlist New Music February 2017. River, the second single off the EP, debuted on hit Portland radio station KINK, and her music has garnered national and international airplay. Shae attended the Northwest chapter of the Grammy Songwriter's Summit in 2017and has played in Portland's premier venues such as the Hawthorne and Roseland Theatre.

This twenty-one year old Scottish singer-songwriter has been making music on both sides of the Atlantic for as long as anyone who knows her can remember. Her childhood was spent jumping back and forward between Scotland, Ireland, and Oregon, and with music always as a constant, this young musician has been able to craft songs which reflect all the corners of the globe where she has called home.
