About Meet Mill Creek's Maker

McMenamins' 12th brewery opened in the summer of 1995. The company's northernmost outpost, it's located about 30 miles north of Seattle. These days, Charlton Fulton rides herd over Mill Creek's cozy brew house. Charlton's first encounter with McMenamins dates back to 1992, when he drank his first Hammerhead. A civil engineer by trade, it wasn't long before he was home brewing, and eventually joined McMenamins as a Seasonal Brewery Intern at Edgefield in 2010. Charlton loves that beer-making demands creativity, science, and good ol' fashioned, "roll up your sleeves" hard work. As the pub regulars will tell you, the Mill Creek brewery makes a mean IPA but Charlton gets especially intrigued by developing Rye and Belgian brews. So get over to Mill Creek & bring your curiosities. Enjoy this one time offering because when it's gone, it will be no more.

This event is an Official Limited Edition Beer Tasting! You can obtain an experience stamp, getting you one step closer to a $20 gift card, if you've purchased the Passport Insert that allows for additional experience stamps.

About Uniquely Named Lager

There are a lot of beer firsts happening at Mill Creek. This brew is the first true lager to show itself here. A simple malt and hop bill allows each element to speak volumes. The Victory Malt adds a nutty, biscuit-like aroma that blends nicely with the spicy, herbal qualities of the Tettnanger Hops to produce this finely crafted German-style beer.
