About Meet the Makers

The largest of McMenamins' breweries, the Edgefield Brewery opened in 1991 in the old cannery building of the former Multnomah County Poor Farm. There's a lot of history on these grounds that's believed to fuel the flow of creativity. This team produces beer of impressive quality, stunning imagination and in grand volume. Come meet the Brewers and bring your curiosity as they're a communal wealth of knowledge. Enjoy this one time offering because when it's gone, it will be no more.

This event is an Official Limited Edition Beer Tasting! You can obtain an experience stamp, getting you one step closer to a $20 gift card, if you've purchased the Passport Insert that allows for additional experience stamps.

About Orange You Glad I Didn't Say Cream Ale

This beer is our take on a classic summer treat: the orange creamsicle. This beer was designed specifically for the Nitro tap and it pours a light gold color with a prolific, creamy white head. Aromas of biscuit, orange zest, and vanilla abound. We used milk sugar in the boil, which is unfermentable and leaves behind a full mouthfeel along with some sweetness. We hopped this beer minimally, to showcase the creamsicle flavor.
