Sweet Janey Jane plays an eclectic collection of both covers and original songs with a down-home, bluesy, Americana feel. Born into a subculture of music on Vashon Island in Washington, she was naturally influenced by her father who played oldies rock n roll and country music. As a child, many evenings were spent with a house full of musicians playing the night away. Roots run deep and it is evident that her upbringing influences her style. Carrying on the family tradition, Jane can be found late in the evening, playing heartfelt, old-timey songs.
