About Guest Rooms

Guest Rooms

Guest Rooms is the Portland, OR based acoustic/electric duo of Michael Deresh and Jaime Hazerian. The two also play in the Portland indie band, Risley.
Though originally from NY, Michael Deresh has been a fixture in Portland's music scene for years. While best known for fronting the bands Risley and Tea for Julie, he's also a founding member of PDXPOPNOW! and occasionally wears the engineer/producer hat, recording local bands like Genders and Stoner Control at his Lamplight Studio.
Jaime Hazerian relocated from Los Angeles, where she'd been playing guitar in the post rock band ‘Arms for Tripoli. She and Michael were a natural fit, musically finishing each other's sentences and collaborating prolifically.
At Guest Rooms shows, you should expect a grab bag of Guest Rooms songs, Risley songs, career spanning favorites and occasional covers.

About Hutch Harris

Hutch Harris

Hutch Harris was born in New York City, raised in Silicon Valley, and has resided in Portland, Oregon since 1998. Harris was the lead singer and primary songwriter of post-pop-punk legends The Thermals (2002-2017.) In fifteen years the band released seven LPs on the labels Sub Pop, Kill Rock Stars and Saddle Creek. In 2019 Harris released his solo debut LP Only Water, an introspective and meditative collection of songs exploring love and loss. Harris recently released his second solo LP SUCK UP ALL THE OXYGEN, a brash and snotty album not dissimilar to The Thermals' classic material. hutchharris.bandcamp.com
