About Mind Your Head

Mind Your Head

We are a high-energy rock band from Tacoma, Washington, made up of passionate high school students who came together through a shared love for music. Our sound blends infectious rhythms, powerful guitar riffs, and catchy melodies that get people on their feet. We live for the thrill of performing and love creating music that brings joy, energy, and a sense of connection to our audience. Whether it's a packed venue or a jam session, our mission is simple: to make music that rocks and gets people dancing!

About Black Bird Collective

Black Bird Collective

Black Bird Collective is a Seattle-based indie-rock project led by composer and singer-songwriter, Brooke Richey. With their band lead's roots as a PNW kid in the 90's (from the stomping grounds of Northend Tacoma), the BBC sound is heavily influenced by 90's rock fused with a cinematic ambiance. BBC's first album, False Identities, has had songs featured on several podcasts and in films due to the cinematic nature of the works. In October 2024, the band released GET OUT OF MY WAY album, a collection of songs which encompass the power of stepping into one's own voice and identity. This spring, the group has teamed up with Brooke Richey Music in The Strawberry Initiative, an effort to refine how the world responds to and heals trauma, by way of leading by example.
