About Petty Thief

Petty Thief

When you hear someone mention "Tom Petty Tribute Band", you immediately think of someone in a tacky blonde wig and a cheesy vocal performance with a fake, nasally-Bob Dylan type delivery. Well, that is not who Petty Thief is.

Petty Thief is a no frills rock band from Seattle, WA who meticulously encompass the Tom Petty sound and musically establish an emotional connection with the crowd that's assembled. When asked why they didn't take the impersonation and prop-driven approach, founder Andy Volmer says, "we wanted to approach the tribute genre as a true live rock and roll band, not a novelty act, and with the current lineup of the band, we have what no one else has - the most authentic and genuine sounding Tom Petty experience in the Pacific Northwest."

The members of Petty Thief all come from a background of recording and touring with various successful cover, tribute and original bands and perform the music of Tom Petty and The Heartbreakers with the same passion and dedication. They pay tireless attention to detail to each and every song they play, which appeals to both casual and diehard Tom Petty fans alike. Petty Thief was originally formed back in 2007 by Andy Volmer as a spoof for a Halloween show, but 2023will mark the 16th Anniversary of the band, and they are thrilled to be out there, playing to the lovers of Tom Petty's music.

If you want to experience Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers music there's only one band that can deliver that sound authentically. There's something happening...something that's real rock n' roll, something the millions of Tom Petty and the Heartbreakers fans around the world need right now, more than ever. And its Petty Thief.

"Music is probably the only real magic I have encountered in my life. There's not some trick involved with it. It's pure and it's real. It moves, it heals, it communicates and does all these incredible things"
- Tom Petty (1950-2017)

About Fever 103

Fever 103

In March of 1977 the band Foreigner released its debut album, self-titled: "Foreigner". This multi-platinum album sold more than four million copies in the United States alone, staying in the Top 20 for an entire YEAR with such hits as "Feels Like the First Time", "Cold as Ice" and "Long, Long Way from Home". The mega-hit multi-platinum records kept on coming with the release of: "Double Vision", "Head Games" and the 1981 (again) multi-platinum "4".

Fever 103 lives and breathes the incredible music of Foreigner. Their ability to re-create with foot-stompin' accuracy the catchy, highly recognizable and timeless music is an experience no true Classic Rock fan would ever want to miss. Foreigner's songs are known throughout the world. The challenge is to find a person that does not know "Hot Blooded", "Double Vision", "I Want to Know What Love Is" and countless other Grammy award winning songs from this legendary rock band that long ago should have been inducted into The Rock & Roll Hall of Fame.

Music and performance are the passions of Fever 103. From their inception they have made NO compromises in their approach and representation of each song. Their musicianship is precise instrumentally, in vocal harmonies, and in Steve Fournier's jaw-dropping representation of Lou Gramm's award winning vocals. Every show is exciting to fans of every age, other musicians and talent buyers of every stripe! Their #1 goal is for every single member of the audience to leave their shows with a life time experience of the timeless Heydays of the original Lou Gramm era Foreigner; rocking out, singing along with the band, and dancing their @#!ess off!
