The largest of McMenamins' breweries, the Edgefield Brewery opened in 1991 in the old cannery building of the former Multnomah County Poor Farm. There's a lot of history on these grounds that's believed to fuel the flow of creativity. This team produces beer of impressive quality, stunning imagination and in grand volume. from Cornelius Pass Roadhouse BreweryThis is the perfect collaboration between brewer and grower. Pesticide and cage free from an estate in Warren, the Nugget and Cascade Hops in this brew were picked and used within 24 hours to preserve that fresh hop goodness. We brewed this Herbal Extra Pale during the 2017 Eclipse for guitarist, Plini, and his September concert in Lola's Room. Together, we crafted a beer that reflects his diverse musical influences and his self-described inner-hippie, bridging the gap between a hoppy, refreshing Extra Pale and an old-world Gruit. from Edgefield BreweryDuskbringer celebrates autumn with its darker color and seasonal ingredients. This beer was brewed with 200 pounds of squash and pumpkin that was hand cut, cubed, roasted and pureed by the brewers before it was added to the mash tun and kettle. The Edgefield Oktoberfest is a traditional seasonal lager, brewed in honor of the changing seasons. It pours a beautiful, crystal-clear copper color with a creamy off-white head. Subtle aromas of sweet bread and toffee greet the senses. The first sip opens up with a crisp, clean toffee flavor with a touch of sweetness and a dry, subtlety spicy, citrus aftertaste.
