The Light Fantastic
Formed in 2017, The Light Fantastic is a Portland, Oregon based
instrumental quartet offering a hip-shaking, orchestrated and eclectic mix of
50-70's jazz-funk inspired psychedelic rockin' and groovin' tunes, from
deep-cut arrangements to smokin' originals.
The Light Fantastic delivers a polished, high-energy live set that blends tight
musicianship with an unmistakable sense of atmosphere. Their sound moves
confidently between groove-driven rhythms, layered textures, and sharp,
memorable hooks-built to land just as well on a packed dance floor as it does
in a focused listening room. With a reputation for engaging performances and a
dynamic stage presence, this is a show that rewards both casual listeners and

Comprised of lifelong multi-instrumentalists, its members have deep passion for
music, as well as deep roots in Portland's music legacy from the historic Day
Music Company to the transformative Peak Experience Productions. Expect
