Volume Plan
Volume Plan is a full bodied, five piece hard rock cover
band, with a catalogue of songs consisting mainly of, but not limited to, 90's
alternative hard rock and grunge rock hits by legends such as Alice In Chains,
Pearl Jam, Stone Temple Pilots, Nirvana, Foo Fighters, Nine Inch Nails, Tool,
Filter, Silverchair, Green Day, The Beastie Boys, Radiohead, Soundgarden and
more. Based out of Portland, OR since 2020, Volume Plan's live performance
mostly stays true to the recorded versions and gives us all the opportunity to
remember and experience these masterpieces which have added so much depth and
richness to our lives throughout the years.
Front-man Ted Easton is more than just a guitar playing lead-singer with
an impressive range of vocal stylings. He is a true entertainer, engaging the
audience with his intense passion, incorrigible (unapologetic) wit, and some of
the best damn tambourine playing in the PNW. Lead guitarist Brad Crittenden
rips the iconic solos of songs such as Vasoline, Black, and Man in the Box with
uncanny accuracy and a supremely tasteful delivery that will leave you full of
awe, inspired by the profound majesty of his mastery. Bassist Jake Schlueter is
the beefy beast of the lower frequencies, pumping thunderous pressure waves of
punchy bass into every body blessed to be in the proximity of his crushing
power and cool energy supplemented by his excellent back up vocals and sweet
auxiliary percussion skills. Since joining the band in 2024, guitarist,
keyboardist, and vocalist Joe Flowers has expanded the band's scope of sonic
capabilities into a realm of ultimate potential by providing a wider range of
instrumentation and vocal presence, performing with every ounce of his being,
and headbanging his way into the hearts of the fans. Drummer Chris Squires is
the bio-mechanical backbone, locking everyone into hard rock grooves and
driving beats, incorporating his famous samples, and using every extension of
his body to navigate the monstrous amalgamation of man and machine that has
become Volume Plan.
