About Kalama Coolship No. 3
This ship sailed in on the cool breeze of collaboration with our friends at Little Hop Brewing. Spontaneously fermented in French oak for a year, this special beer was then blended with juniper essence and Kennedy School- and Grand Lodge-grown roasted persimmons, resulting in a pleasantly tart flavor with notes of pear and apricot drifting over a hint of juniper.
About Crystal Coolship No. 1
This special Wild Ale is the first of its kind out of the Crystal Brewery. Open air coolships expose the wort to wild yeast, and a year of fermentation in French oak creates exceptional flavor. A serendipitous exchange of ingredients - Seville oranges and fresh-pressed ginger juice from our distillery and cidery - creates a citrusy harmony accented by notes of marmalade and candied ginger.
